Cookie Policy

How this website handles cookies and similar technologies — under the revFADP (Switzerland) and the GDPR/ePrivacy (EU).

Note — draft version

DRAFT, not yet legally approved. This policy describes the website's current technical state. If analytics, a consent banner or an external embed is introduced, this text must be updated and legally reviewed. The German version is authoritative. As of: 2026-08.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in the browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and fingerprinting. A distinction is made between strictly necessary cookies (required for operation) and non-necessary cookies (e.g. for statistics or marketing), which may only be set with prior consent.

Which cookies does this website set?

This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no PostHog, no advertising or social-media pixels and no external content delivery networks from US providers. Only strictly necessary mechanisms are used, to the extent required for delivering and securing the site.

Consent

Because no non-necessary cookies are set, no consent is required and no consent banner is shown by design. Strictly necessary operations may take place without consent under Art. 45c lit. b of the Swiss Telecommunications Act and under the GDPR/ePrivacy framework.

Server logs

When the website is accessed, the web server processes technical access data (IP address, timestamp, requested path, HTTP status, user agent) to deliver and secure the service. These logs are deleted automatically after seven days. Details are set out in the privacy notice.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Independently of this website, you can at any time view and delete cookies stored in your browser and restrict or block the setting of cookies. The relevant settings are found in your browser's privacy/security options.
